The basics are democrats are thinking with humanity. They would be considered the flower child of the 1970's. Now regardless with what side you are on we need democrats. Some believe that one party can do the job, but they cannot. We need the different perspectives to keep all aspects of life accounted for when thinking of laws and governing the American people.
The basics of the republican is that they are more of the reality type. They know that nothing can happen without a sense of income. We have to make money in order to save the world. So they view the goings on of government as a business essentially. Just like the democrats we need republicans to be thinking of the bottom line.
As much as I love the basics of them they have all lost the way of the duty they carry. The average salary of a senate or house member is $174,000. With this they should be very dedicated to the American people and what they need. Most people are not even voting right now because they think that they don't count. They feel hopeless like there is nothing that can be done to bring our country greatness. Always vote, but more importanly be an informed voter.
